April Dance News

Important dates:

  • April 22-26 – There is class during spring break.  Families may observe the last 15 min of class this week!
  • June 7, 8, 9 – Dance rehearsals and recitals at Driver’s Village

 

Recital tickets are available now! Advance sale: $3 each or 4 for $10.00.  Children 4 & under are free.  The price at the door will be $5 each, if there are seats available.

Please see Miss Shannon to purchase tickets at the end of your child’s class.  You may only purchase tickets if your tuition balance is paid through at least February.

 

Spring Break/Observation Day – We will have dance and acro lessons during Spring Break (April 22-26).  Families may watch the last 15 min of class during this week.  Feel free to record the dances and take pictures.

 

Tights – Tights are $10 per pair.  To purchase tights, please return the order form, along with payment by May 1.  If you unsure of the size, please ask Miss Shannon.

Notes for the Program – Add a note to the program congratulating your child on working so hard this year. Entries for the program and payment are due on May 1.  Late entries will not be accepted.  Return the attached slip or email Miss Shannon at info@dancecrazebyshannon.com. 

 

Summer Lessons

  • Boys Hip Hop – July 9, 16, 23, 6:30-7:00pm, Boys ages 6 & up, $25 for 3 weeks
  • Mother - Daughter Hip Hop Class - July 30, August 6, 13, 6:30-7:00pm, $35 per mother/daughter pair for 3 weeks
  • Acro - Tuesdays, July 9-August 13, 6:00-7:00pm, $13 per class
  • Adult Tap - July 9, 16, 23, 7:00-7:30pm, $25 for 3 weeks
  • Pre-school – Tuesdays, July 9-August 13, 4:30-5:15pm, $9 per class
  • Private Lessons will be offered for 6 weeks beginning on Tuesdays, beginning July 9.  $19/hour or $11 /half-hour.  Lessons can be scheduled as early as 10am.
  • Dance Camp - July 29-Aug 2 &  August 12-16, 9am-3pm, $125 per student, per week

Discount offered for siblings and multiple weeks.  July camp is almost full – 5 spots left!!

 

Dance Recital & Rehearsal will be held at Driver’s Village in Cicero on Saturday, June 8 at 6:30 PM and Sunday, June 9 at 12:00 PM.  Most students will perform in one show; some high school middle school students may perform in both. 
Students who dance in both shows will receive one complimentary ticket.  Dancers performing in the show do not need a ticket.

All students will rehearse at Driver’s Village on Friday evening, June 7 or Saturday morning, June 8, time TBD.

 

*Tuition Payments & Late Fees* - There will be a 10-day grace period on tuition payments.  Lessons payments are due by the 10th day of the following month.  For example: September lessons must be paid in full by October 10th.  A $10 late fee will be charged after the deadline.
